Job Description:
As a Spring Security & Authorization Developer at Excent, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining secure authentication and authorization systems within our applications. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our software products meet the highest security standards.
Responsibilities:
- Authentication and Authorization: Design and implement secure authentication and authorization solutions using Spring Security.
- Access Control: Develop and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) systems to manage user permissions.
- Token-Based Authentication: Implement token-based authentication mechanisms for web and mobile applications.
- Security Auditing: Conduct security audits and code reviews to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Secure API Development: Design and develop secure APIs with proper authentication and authorization layers.
- OAuth and OpenID Connect: Configure and integrate OAuth and OpenID Connect for secure identity and authentication workflows.
- Single Sign-On (SSO): Implement Single Sign-On solutions to improve user experience and security.
- Security Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry security best practices and implement them in our applications.
- Threat Modeling: Perform threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential security threats.
- Documentation: Create and maintain security documentation, including security policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Spring Security & Authorization Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Strong expertise in Spring Security and Spring Boot for securing web applications and APIs.
- Experience with authentication protocols and mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
- Knowledge of OpenID Connect and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations.
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and systems.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and common security vulnerabilities.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional development team.
