The primary financial regulator is the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), responsible for regulating and supervising the securities market in the country.

Small Claims Procedure

The small claims procedure in Spain is known as “Juicio Verbal” and is used for claims with a value of up to 2,000 euros. It is a simplified and faster process than regular civil proceedings. The procedure is initiated by submitting a claim form to the court, and a hearing is usually held within two months of the claim being filed.
