Job Description:
As a Senior Frontend Developer at Excent, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly. You will work closely with our design and development teams to bring our digital products to life.
Responsibilities:
● Front-end Development: Take ownership of front-end development projects, including the implementation of responsive web and mobile interfaces.
● UI/UX Integration: Collaborate with designers to convert design mockups and wireframes into pixel-perfect, interactive web pages.
● Performance Optimization: Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
● Cross-browser Compatibility: Ensure that web applications work seamlessly across various browsers and platforms.
● Code Quality: Maintain and improve code quality, including following best practices and coding standards.
● Code Review: Review code submitted by team members, providing feedback and ensuring code quality and consistency.
● Accessibility: Ensure that web applications are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, by following WCAG guidelines.
● Version Control: Use version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) to manage codebase and collaborate with team members.
● Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for front-end code and processes.
● Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering their growth and development.
Qualifications:
● 5+ years of Frontend Development experience.
● Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
● Strong experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as Polymer, Vaadin, Hilla, Lit-Element & React or Vue.js.
● Experience with responsive web design and Desktop & mobile-first development.
● Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools.
● Knowledge of front-end build tools like Yarn, npm, Highcharts, Webpack or Gulp.
● Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
● Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
● Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
