Job Description:
As a Product Owner at Excent, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing features, creating user stories, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional payment solutions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our fintech products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for our fintech and payments products.
- Feature Prioritization: Prioritize product features and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals.
- User Stories: Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog items for development teams.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including development teams, designers, and business leaders, to ensure alignment on product goals.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings and regulatory changes in the fintech and payments sector.
- Roadmap Planning: Define and manage the product roadmap, taking into account customer needs and business objectives.
- Release Planning: Work closely with development teams to plan and execute product releases, including sprint planning and demos.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that the delivered product meets high-quality standards and fulfills user requirements.
- User Experience (UX): Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly payment experiences.
- Feedback Analysis: Gather and analyze user feedback and data to make data-driven product decisions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in the fintech and payments industry with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Deep knowledge of payment processing, financial services, and regulatory compliance in the fintech sector.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed product decisions.
- Experience with payment APIs, digital wallets and mobile payment technologies is a plus.
- Customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
