Job Description:

As a Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate at Excent, you will be responsible for supporting the deployment, management, and optimization of cloud-native applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with our DevOps and development teams to ensure the success of cloud-native workloads.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Kubernetes Operations: Assist in the operation and administration of Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
  • Container Orchestration: Participate in the orchestration of containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD Integration: Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline setup and integration to automate application deployments.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Support the implementation of monitoring and observability solutions for cloud-native applications.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Cloud Integration: Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI) to deploy and manage cloud-native workloads.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for cloud-native deployment procedures and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA) certification is required.
  • Strong interest in cloud-native technologies and practices.
  • Basic understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the cloud-native space.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile development and operations environment.
